Job Description
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
- The role primarily consists in sustainable growth of the customer base
- You will report to the Head of Sales
GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Identify new business opportunities within EMEA – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
- Build long-term relationships with employees, clients, and other stakeholders
- Seek out the appropriate contact within an organisation
- Generate leads and cold-call prospective customers
- Meet with clients face to face or virtually
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- Draw up client contracts – involvement in compiling mutually agreed terms and conditions
- Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
- Liaise, coordinate and execute with external & internal resources (operational, product, sales & marketing teams) to serve existing and potential clients
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in relocation, business travel, hospitality, corporate housing and serviced apartment industries
- Help to plan sales campaigns
- Create a sales pipeline
- Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
- Updating & maintenance of HubSpot as a CRM
- Deliver against budget & forecast
- Ad hoc duties to address a particular and clearly defined situation or responsibility
- Drive technology adoption and bring the company as the sole technology platform to all clients
- Provide excellent customer success to clients
- A minimum of 2 years in direct sales, service industry experience is desirable but not essential
- Native speaker in English as well as another European language, preferably French, German or Italian
- Experience in a target driven environment
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
- An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
- Good IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
- Initiative and good decision-making skills
- Project management skills
- The ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals
- Great organisational skills
- Good networking skills
- The ability to think strategically
- Frequent travel
