Job Description

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

  • The role primarily consists in sustainable growth of the customer base
  • You will report to the Head of Sales

GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Identify new business opportunities within EMEA – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
  • Build long-term relationships with employees, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Seek out the appropriate contact within an organisation
  • Generate leads and cold-call prospective customers
  • Meet with clients face to face or virtually
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Draw up client contracts – involvement in compiling mutually agreed terms and conditions
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Liaise, coordinate and execute with external & internal resources (operational, product, sales & marketing teams) to serve existing and potential clients
  • Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
  • Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
  • Keep abreast of trends and changes in relocation, business travel, hospitality, corporate housing and serviced apartment industries
  • Help to plan sales campaigns
  • Create a sales pipeline
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
  • Updating & maintenance of HubSpot as a CRM
  • Deliver against budget & forecast
  • Ad hoc duties to address a particular and clearly defined situation or responsibility
  • Drive technology adoption and bring the company as the sole technology platform to all clients
  • Provide excellent customer success to clients
  • A minimum of 2 years in direct sales, service industry experience is desirable but not essential
  • Native speaker in English as well as another European language, preferably French, German or Italian
  • Experience in a target driven environment
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets
  • An excellent telephone manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Good IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets
  • Initiative and good decision-making skills
  • Project management skills
  • The ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals
  • Great organisational skills
  • Good networking skills
  • The ability to think strategically
  • Frequent travel
