Sales Consultant

Administration –


  • Attend, report to and participate in sales meetings, report on competitor trends and help develop local sales strategies that meet the challenges of the market.
  • Ensure that administrative systems are up to date and accurate at all times and data input protocols are observed and adhered to.
  • Ensure all costs are clearly detailed to customers and collected prior to removal date (unless approved corporate account).
  • Prepare and present formal quotations to clients, using indicative selling techniques and structured approaches to enable successful negotiation with the customer.
  • Follow up on proposals with customer to secure booking
  • Ensure that all booked files are handed over as per standard operating procedures to the customer services team.


Sales & Customer Service –


  • Sales lead processing.
  • Sales calls with prospects, calculate volumes, prepare costing sheet and proposals.
  • Utilize value based selling skills and methodologies that clearly differentiate our client from our competitors and generate best value for our client at every possible juncture.
  • Regular follow-up to ensure the booking of sales through negotiation and use of value add and upselling techniques.


Corporate Social Responsibility –

  • Support the company CSR commitment and goals.


Other –

  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision and values.

Professional Knowledge and Skills –


  • 1-2 years sales or customer services experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationshipswith multiple and diverse stakeholders.
  • Well-developed administration and organization skills with strong attention todetail.
  • Knowledge of selling psychology.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness. (Excellent command of English, Cantoneseand (Mandarin is a plus).


Qualifications –

  • Secondary education certificate, or equivalent (preferred).
